Aprio 28, 2012
Workshop at 3:00pm • Concert at 5:30pm
Western Springs
Connected to our ancient liturgical tradition, how do the people of God sing authentically with our 21stcentury imaginations? It's an ancient-future tension that holds us faithfully. Join us for singing in a wide variety of styles with rich dialogue around the state of worship music. After engaging in an interactive workshop experience with us, Richard and Trish will perform a concert of their music to which you can invite friends and colleagues.
Richard and Trish Bruxvoort Colligan are published songwriters and spiritual directors from Strawberry Point, Iowa. Trish directs a online community called Anam Cara and specializes in women's spirituality. Richard has an M.A. degree in Theology and the Arts from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and is in the midst of a 12-year intensive study of the Psalms. Together Richard and Trish lead workshops across denomination, perform concerts and teach the art of openhearted leadership. You can view their music and ministry at:
