Ministries & Gatherings

Worship

We worship in Christian community every Sunday at 11:00 am, with Holy Communion offered the first and third Sundays of each month. Through song, scripture, praise, and action, we make the journey of discipleship together.

Adult Choir

Choir meets from September through June Thursdays, 7:30 pm & Sundays 10:15 am

Adult Study Groups

We hold an open Adult Bible Study Group every Sunday before Worship from 9:30 until 10:45 am. We also offer a Women's Bible Study Group that meets every Wednesday from 10:00 am until noon. Other Evening Bible Studies and small groups are offered throughout the year and will be announced.

After School Ministry

Our After School Program is offered free of charge to the neighborhood and provides a safe space for an average of  40 children, grades kindergarten through 8th, every year.  Within this program we offer homework tutoring, arts and crafts time, yoga and dance classes, Peacemakers Tae Kwon Do, as well as a gardening club!

Summer Camp Ministry

Summer Camp, another program offered free of charge, is offered every summer to youth, grades K-8th, for 5 or 6 weeks. Children spend 3 days a week at the church participating in art & crafts, music club, games, and Bible study. The last two years, thanks to strong donor support, we have been able to have a carnival day to wrap up camp, with a waterslide, face painting, games and snacks!

Children’s Gardening Club

Our Children’s Garden Summer Class provides two months of garden education programming for neighborhood children, ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old.  The daily classes incorporate garden care, arts and crafts, and lessons on nutrition and sustainability. They explore a variety of topics, including how growing food can help us care for our bodies, the Earth, and our community. The children get the satisfaction of  seeing their garden blossom under their care and get to eat the literal fruits of their labor.
