Pie-making for Thanksgiving
Want to participate in a pie-making class to prepare homemade pies for Community Feast’s Thanksgiving dinner? On Saturday 10 November, starting at noon, resident Pie Lady, Jill Graham, will be gibing hands-on instruction in making piecrust from scratch. Participants will have the opportunity to take home a pot-pie-sized treat if they so choose. Detailed written instructions and favorite pie filling recipes will be available. The large pies we make will be frozen in preparation for use at Community Feast’s double-seating Thanksgiving dinner schedule for 18 November. Class size is limited to ten.
