On the second weekend in October, The United Methodist Church recognizes Children’s Sabbath, a time to reflect on God’s gift of children, and ways congregations and individuals can renew their commitment to care for, protect and advocate for all children.

Theme:Corporate officers to Incarnational Leaders-The church needs to move from CEO-style pastors and bureacracy and, even worse, complicity in the abuses of multinational corporations against people Jesus loved best to Pastor/church leader as spiritual friend and partner on the journey. What does it mean to shed the baggage we accumulated during the years of collusion with violence and world domination?
