Scripture: James 5:13-20; Mark 9:38-50A new sermon series based on the book Weird Church: Welcome to the Twenty-first Century by Beth Ann Estock and Paul Nixon will start on 9 September.  This book explores what aspects of church are not working and what the future of the church might look like. We will go through the book of James in the lectionary and explore six institutional shifts that need to happen for the church at large to step into the twenty-first century.
