On February 23rd-26th, our denomination will gather to discuss the commission on a way forward, but many of us know there is no way forward without our LGBTQIA+ siblings. We have a simple message: We support the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and always will.

In honor of that, all churches are invited into a time of solidarity on Wednesday evening, February 27th, following the close of General Conference. We will gather at United Church of Rogers Park at 6:30pm.

We also encourage you to place a sign or a banner on your church with our simple message: "We support the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and always will." Let's let everyone in the Northern Illinois Conference area know that there are United Methodist Churches standing in solidarity around this simple message, regardless of the outcome of General Conference.
