Lenten Study on discernment
Experts tell us that the average person makes 35,000 decisions everyday. How do we manage all of the choices before us? Have you ever been overwhelmed by a life decision? Starting February 26 following worship we will have a five week study on discernment. Discernment is the ability to judge well, to have understanding and a sense of guidance. We will explore what the Bible says about discernment, and you will get tools to use when facing life decisions. Through conversation we will learn practices that will help us attend to our inner spirit and to where God is leading. As we learn to discern personally, we will also explore who communities can know God's will. We hope you will join us each week. you are welcome to come to one or all of the sessions. Every session will be done both in person and on zoom.

But, the traditional forty days of lent that precede our Easter Sunday celebration do not include Sundays. The reason is that Sundays are a break from the fast. Every Sunday is a mini Easter, and worship is a celebration remembering the resurrection of Jesus.
