Taelor leaving UCRP
UCRP’s Ministerial Intern Taelor Hickey is being “Sending forth” on Sunday 2 May
This experience was nothing like Taelor thought it would be. Taelor was an intern at with us pre pandemic where they had opportunities to interact “in person” with church members. Taelor participated in small events like brunch and historical events such as the sending off of the Irving Park Church building. Taelor was vital in our initial move to online worship and had the opportunity to return to our CO-OP to help us fine tune things. Taelor never would have imagined we would have two Easter worships online. Taelor has appreciated getting to know the members of the CO-OP and all of their personalities. Taelor reports they have learned much more than expected over the past year and wonders what it will be like to rebuild the church in the years to come.
